Peplums, People! A Fashion Comeback?
A fashion comeback no one saw coming – or did we? As I was attending show after show and looking through all the new collections, I couldn’t help but notice the reemergence of one distinct, infamous silhouette: The peplum. Bodycon to flare out at the waist – Millennials thought they’d never recover and with Gen Z side-eyeing all the fashion trends happening between 2008 and 2018, I never thought I’d see the day again and yet here we are. Peplums are back. Suddenly I regret ridding myself of my own tops with the flared hips.
